The Benefits of the Kindle App

Amazon recently released the new electronic book reader, Kindle. This new e-book reader is meant to revolutionize the electronic book era and make it a viable, affordable, popular option for literary reading.

Kindle has many desirable features available, which separates it from previous models of electronic book readers. A small, non back-lit screen, a full qwerty keyboard, easy to use function controls, and a small, compact size are only a few of the features that make Kindle a newly popular choice.

The most important feature, however, is the convenience and each with which customers can obtain books through Amazon. With the recent release of Kindle version two, Amazon has also announced the Kindle is now available on the iPhone as a Kindle app.

When first launching the Kindle app on your iPhone or your iPod touch, you will first need to log into you account. When logging into your Kindle account, you will see all of the books that you have bought and or downloaded. The Kindle app allows you to buy software on both your Kindle device or from your iPhone. This is convenient so that if you purchase books on the Kindle app, they will also be available if you are using the Kindle device.

One of the best features is the integrated technology between the Kindle device and the Kindle app. The iPhone Kindle app allows your iPhone to be synced up with your Kindle version two device.

The Kindle app is relatively easy to use and the technology available allows the iPhone and your Kindle to remain on the same page of the book that you are reading and to also maintain the same settings in each. This allows you the freedom to pick up reading your book anywhere that you have your iPhone with you. This is especially handy when you are inadvertently delayed and do not have your Kindle. The Kindle app allows you to access your book, in the same place you left off, anytime.

The Kindle app is still working on a few features. Currently, the Kindle app for iPhone does not support the note writing feature. In addition, magazines and newspapers are not able to be synced between the two devices.

It is important to remember, however, that the Kindle app is still relatively new, thus more advancements and releases are expected in the near future.

If you own an iPhone, you are able to use the Kindle app without actually purchasing a Kindle. You will still have access to the vast Amazon library, and you can also use a computer to download additional books.

While the Kindle app is not as technologically savvy as the Kindle device, loading the Kindle app may be a way to see if you are going to use the software and the e-book option, before you spend money on a Kindle device.

While the Kindle app is still in the new phase, it appears to be gaining relatively good reviews. Yes, advancements can still be made to the Kindle app, and customers will expect an updated release soon, but the Kindle app is still worth considering if you have an iPhone and are interested in pursuing the idea of switching to e-books.
